Teacher-led Art and Design sessions

Art & Design

Why not use the furnished house, and the gardens full of labelled plants and herbs, to inspire your own programme of art using a number of mixed media?

Be inspired by the landscape, the natural beauty, the history, the architecture, the objects, the stories, the families who owned the house, gunpowder plot and treason.

How do you capture a 700 year old building in today’s landscape and how can you recreate its long history using art and design?

The barn can also be used a traditional learning space for teaching, discussion and as a place to keep equipment and other resources.
