The Old Barn

The Old Barn Tea Room at 1620s House & Garden has atmosphere and charm, offering an interesting space to hold intimate conferences, deliver training, or a team sessions, as well as hire for family occasions and special events.  Sitting within the beautiful and tranquil grounds and gardens of the medieval manor house, this is a special place for many events.

If you wish to hire the space, we are always very pleased to add food and refreshments of a high standard.  We are very happy to discuss your specific requirements and can work to all budgets to offer something memorable for you.

The 1620s House and Garden site is also available for hire for filming and photography sessions and if you wish to give event guests a memorable experience, we can discuss including House access to any hire of The Barn, at an additional charge and subject to staffing availability.

We are always happy to work with customers who would like to hire the Old Barn Tea Room on both evenings and days in the spring and summer during our non open days, as well as during our closed season from October to March.

*Please note that the House and Barn is not available to hire from 9am – 6pm Thursday to Sunday from April to the end of September as it is used as a tea room to the public.
