Facilities and Access

Entrance to the site is charged for, but the admission fee gives unlimited repeat visits to the House, Garden and Tea Room up to the end of the current opening season.
There is a separate charge for events and activities days.

 

The site has a FREE car park, with room for coach parking.

There are designated disabled parking spaces.

Tea room open 11.00 am – 4.00 pm Thursday to Sunday from May to the end of September. Credit & debit cards accepted

 

 The small, but specialist stocked shop in the Barn offers souvenirs and gifts, together with information about the Gardens provided by The Friends of the 1620s House. Credit & debit cards accepted

There are toilets onsite for visitors.

 

There are wheelchair accessible toilets onsite for visitors. Approved facilities are available in the accessible toilet.

 

Access for visitors in wheelchairs and with mobility impairments is limited to the gardens, tea room and the ground floor of the Manor House due to steep stairs to the first floor. Narrated films and photographs of the upstairs rooms are available on tablets within the house.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome on the site. Please note: only assistance dogs are permitted in the House.

 

Staff assistance is available on site, please ask for assistance on arrival at the site.
