Join Peter Liddle for this talk in the Tithe Barn at the 1620s House & Garden, which is one of the many events taking place during The Festival of British Archaeology (15th to 30th July).
Peter will talk about the 1620s House & Garden, once thought to be a lone example of a surviving medieval manor house. It is now realised that many more survive, often hidden within later buildings. The talk will look at some of these as well as those that have disappeared and been revealed by excavation and the sites of manor houses indicated by earthworks.
Tickets £6 – Pre booking recommended by calling 01455 290429
