Rents Day
Sunday 27th June, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm.
On quarter days, that is every three months, rents would be paid and domestic staff would also be paid. Their day to day living covered would be provided by the master of the house. Accounts would be settled and recorded.
Disputes between tenants and landlord and tenants would also need to be settled.
Who steals the eggs from old Agatha’s hens?
Who has complaints of leaky thatch that still needs repair?
Who demands extra payment for work repairing the stools?
