Maladies & Medicine a talk by Dr Sara Read in the Tithe Barn at the 1620s House & Garden on Wednesday 25th July.

Join Dr Sara Read as she discusses bodily health in the 1620s and some of the medical approaches used to treat specific conditions, illustrating this with anecdotes from patients and medics at the time. Some of the cures might be surprising, including just how many recipes called for earthworms!

Tickets: £6.00 per person
