Discover the story behind the Gunpowder Plot and how the family that lived in the 1620s House lived in the shadow of one of their close relatives being hung, drawn and quartered for his part in it.
See the story of the Plot unfold through a series of short scenarios throughout the day. Learn about the properties of gunpowder and watch a 17th century cannon being fired, while younger visitors can get stuck into some themed craft activities.
Usual site admission plus £2 uplift per person.

Summer Crafts

Summer crafts is back this summer by popular demand. Join us for some crafting fun. £2 per child, no need to pre-book just pay on the day. There will be a morning session from 10am – 12pm and an afternoon session from 2pm – 4pm.
