Gunpowder, Treason & Plot - Digital Event!

Sadly, due to the National Lockdown coming in on the 5th, we can’t go ahead with Sunday’s Gunpowder Plot Day as planned. However, we’ve captured the essence of the day with a digital Gunpowder, Treason and Plot event.  We’ve put together a short film in which our two-man re-enactment team portray the key characters & scenes that bring the story of the Gunpowder Plot to life!

Within the digital package, you‘ll receive a script for a specially written Mummer’s Play, in which the whole family can get involved in acting out the scenes! For those budding thespians out there, you can record yourselves reading some of the lines and send it to us, so we can re-create the full play on facebook.

You can also raid your house in our fun Gunpowder Plot themed Scavenger Hunt and for our younger audiences we’ve put together a make your own Guy Fawkes Puppet resource!

Alongside your garden fireworks, get into the spirit of the festival and learn about the history of this unforgettable day!

The Package is £3.50 per household  Once purchased you will receive your package within 24hrs
