Candlelit Carolling – 5.00 pm session SOLD OUT

Friday 13th December, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

Candlelit Carolling - 5.00 pm session SOLD OUT

Join us for this festive treat as we sing our way around the ancient house in the atmospheric dark of the evening. After a warming mulled wine or juice in the old barn, we’ll learn how the rooms were used in Jacobean times whilst getting in the festive mood by joining in with some lovely early carols as we tour the house. We will be treated to a few tunes on a lute and then, to finish, those that wish to can don costumes, pick up props and scripts and take part in a short, traditional Leicestershire mummers play.

Due to the size of the rooms, numbers are limited to 20 people per session so booking in advance is essential.

Tickets are £6 per person (including a glass of mulled wine or apple juice) call 01455 290429 between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

This early session runs from 5.00 pm – 6.30 pm

Doors open at 4.30 pm.
