Summary
Discover how Christmas was celebrated by rich and poor people in times gone by! The 1620s House & Garden will be beautifully dressed in Jacobean style décor.
Join in with festive carols and a mummers play, talk to volunteers about food and feasting, Christmas customs, keeping warm in winter in the days before central heating and all the jobs that had to be done to ensure the Holy season ran smoothly.
What’s more, there’ll be colouring in the Barn and a children’s trail to enjoy!
Normal Admission plus £2.50 No need to pre-book, just come along on the day.
